Landscaping and Reconstruction of Tabriz Street

Project Overview

Commissioned by "Baku City Capital Construction and Repair" LLC, operating under the Head of the Baku City Executive Authority, large-scale landscaping and reconstruction works are being carried out in the Nasimi district, on the section of Tabriz Street between its intersections with A. Nematullah Street and A. Agaoglu Street. Following the results of a state procurement tender, this major urban-development project — with a total contract value of AZN 22,966,964 — was awarded to Grand Design Construction LLC as the executing contractor.

To be completed in phases over 12 months, the project covers a total of 417 individual work items across 8 main work directions. Meeting demanding engineering and urban-planning requirements, our core task is to ensure comfortable traffic and pedestrian flow in a dense urban environment, while protecting existing infrastructure networks and completely renewing the area's architecture and aesthetic appearance to modern standards.

Main Work Directions

• Earthworks and Foundation Works: Deep excavation, backfilling, pneumatic and mechanical compaction, and construction of sub-base gravel and concrete preparation layers across the site.
• Structural Works: Installation of strip and column-base monolithic reinforced-concrete foundations, metal frameworks, anchor bolts and fabricated steel components.
• Facade and Insulation: Renewal of building and structure facades, installation of horizontal and vertical waterproofing systems, and laying of modern roof coverings.
• Interior and Exterior Finishing: High-quality plastering, ceiling, flooring and decorative finishing works.
• Engineering Utilities: Renewal of external and internal water supply, sewage and drainage lines, bringing them into full functional working order.
• Electrical Supply and Lighting: Installation of modern lighting systems, automation, cable lines and electrical supply equipment.
• Road and Sidewalk Improvement: Complete renewal of the asphalt surface, and construction of pedestrian sidewalks and public squares to high standards.
• Landscaping and Site Furniture: Landscaping of the area, planting new trees and vegetation, and installing modern site furniture and seating for residents' comfort.
